Does anyone give away hours to new members when they join so they can immediately start using services? If yes, how many?

Thanks!

Hi Sara,

Yes, when a new member joins, they receive 5 Time Hour Credits. In the the announcement email the new member receives this notice, "Service Offer: A Sign-Up Bonus, YEA!!"

You'll create an account for your TimeBank ORGANIZATION, and that is where you pay out staff work and new member bonuses.

All labor that falls under the core economy is tracked, signing up to or joining the TimeBank is work in the core economy.

Cheers,
Tony

In the Woodstock TimeBank we give new members 2 hours. New Organizational members receive 25 hours.

We also give 1 hour for every new member recruited.
