****** Dear Fellow TimeBankers, The question has come up as to how many members, on average, a timebank has at the end of its first year. I know the results vary wildly. I know I received calls in the past from other TimeBank staff who expressed concerns that people had unrealistic expectations. I was able to help some of these people by reassuring them that we had 40 members at the end of the first year at Elderplan and grew over time to include thousands. I thought if we had some data on hand that reflected a range and an average that might be helpful. Please take 30 seconds to complete the survey. Mashi Blech-- a fellow TimeBanker.. .. |

| Mashi,
We just ended our first year in Time Banking here in Oakland, California. We set a goal of 150 members. We finished the year with 143. Our fiscal year ended June of this year. Sobrante Park Time Banking, Floyd Marie Gilmore, Coordinator |

Our hours traded in that time is over 180 hours. We're pretty happy with our outcome |
