Hi, I'm Kim Tillou. I'm just starting a new timebank in the Central Wisconsin area. This has been a dream of mine for some time, to really make a difference to others.

I'm wondering about the process of filing as non profit. I have a few ideas/programs I'd like to start, not just Time Banking. My idea is to file a non profit and begin with the timebanking idea, in time add other programs, such as a Wish bank (granting a last wish) and Talk bank (offering resources, referrals or advice)...

My question is...Would anyone be willing to share their filing records so I have an idea of where to start, such as Articles of Incorporation and ByLaws? Second question...are their any guidelines saying I can't offer other programs filed as the same non profit formation of the timebanking?

Thanks in Advance...Kim

Apparently, you can get a resource guide from TBUSA. We got ours with our startup kit, and I think it cost an extra 40 bucks. It's worth it if you're planning on trying to get grants in these challenging times.
