When you are having trouble locating a particular member in the database, there are a few simple guidelines to follow:

○ Remember the search and sort features in this system work off the first name, not the last. If you’re searching for Jack Smith for example, look under Jack, not Smith.
○ If the member’s name has only two letters, like Al, and you’re trying to record an exchange with them, place a percent sign after the name, like Al%.
○ Are you absolutely certain the person you’re looking for is a member of the same timebank as you?
○ Be sure you’re looking for the member using the name they would have in the database rather than a nickname or formal legal name.

When all else fails, contact your Coordinator and ask for their assistance. Coordinators who need assistance should contact technical support (click the Help button, upper right) and submit a request for assistance using the form on that page.
